I typically utilize Prestone (green) antifreeze in a 50/50 mixture. As far as the water for the mixure, I just utillize our potable water which passes thru a reverse osmosis filter and is mineral free with a nutral ph.

Update, I have some coors light in the fridge so with the Bud light it's 50/50

You can make water non conductive but it won't stay that way if it's in contact with any metal.

you are right but if anyone is concerned that the water is going to eat though your block or heads it took the Colorado river about 65 million years to carve out the Grand Canyon so I think you're safe

Has anyone used the waterless coolant/anti-freeze? From what I've been reading, it SOUNDS like the best of any.

$150.00-$200.00 for most cars YES it's damn pricey, but IF!!!! it does ALL it claims. I think it would be worth it.
Since I'm going with EVERYTHING NEW from trans cooler back thru trans in 2 weeks. I want to find out if it's worth the cost.

In the summer I run distilled water with Royal Purple Ice and when I park it for the winter I drain it and install distilled water with antifreeze 50/50 that I saved from the last winter...I used to use Water Wetter but the Royal product is better.....🙂
