Well down here in texas, the name of the game is keeping the car cool. I live down here in san antonio just a couple hours from mexico. Right where the factory vapor canister was, I cut a hole through the inner fender and that's where the driver side hose is running. The passenger one I have it snugged between the battery and transmission line going into the radiator. There's a gap between the radiator and core support right there that allows for cool air to go right into the hose. My plan is to move the battery to the trunk so I can do the same thing on the passenger side as I did on the driver side.
For anyone who's curious about these muscle car cold air intakes, they're made by Spectre and you can purchase them at autozone or pepboys for between 150-200 dollars. If your in the south like I am, these things work great and definately help keep my car at getting 17-20 mpg.
