As soon as I get a horn button,I will be wrapping up my steering wheel switch to a Grant Challenger,in my 84 Elky. And I had to tear out the rats nest wiring job for where a trailer hitch was installed,to plug in & mount an LED light strip. Will finish up my new ignition parts install.Went with new MSD cap & rotor, and ACDelco RAPIDFIRE® Performance Platinum plugs. The old plugs werent real bad,but I do notice a difference with the new ones.Seems to have a bit better accelleration & idling.Hopefully,I'll get better mileage,as well!. On my Vette,I just last nite, fitted a Spectre Performance cold air intake.

Nice, I like this a lot. I think my Cutlass had a dual snorkel setup that pulled cold air from under the car. I just checked out Spectre's site, they have some nice stuff. I wonder if their dual inlet air boxes would fit on my Cutlass...

This weekend, I am:
Switching vinyl top quarter windows for non-vinyl ones..just finished that.
Attaching rear window chrome trim
Replacing passenger side fender, inner fender and wheel well.
Replacing cigar lighter, fixing oil pressure guage, installing hidden antenna. And maybe installing tach?
Moving the bags of body work supplies, parts and tools to the trunk, and giving the interior a good cleaning.
if I'm feeling really motivated, replacing the headliner, and finally putting the interior back together. Doubt it though.
Maybe removing pinstripes from the side of the car.
If I sell my truck, I will be purchasing lowering springs and shocks.
That should be about it. Oh, and finalizing plans for my wedding, in 2 weeks.

I pulled some of the weeds and fought off yellow jackets to try and finally determine what engine was shoved in there. Car originally was a diesel but had a Pontiac swapped in. Problem is I have no clue if its a 301, like the intake would indicate. Or if its a 400 that the combination of XD on the block and the '77 year heads would indicate.

I am buying stuff on E-Bay, and will probably clean out my garage on Monday, which is one of my weekend days with my odd work schedule. I also managed to run into a technical question I could not answer on Friday. My neighbor wanted me to help him set the Dwell on the points in his 1973 Fiat 850 Sport Spyder. I had to tell him I had never set points before... I really hate not knowing the answer to a technical question!

Doin a lil ebay shoppin and waxin the Elco down. Did some polishing on the SS' engine bay and test fit some panels....Man I wanted to drop in my Grand National rear end in the SS, but my kids came to hang out with the "old man". Heck I shoulda threw some jumpsuits on em and let em turn some wrenches....
