There's a lot of variables left out, but my guess is somewhere around 16-17 in a quarter. Just a guess. And it's not out of the question for that setup to go in the lower 15's depending on how well you hook up, what stall you have, what differential?, and how new (and tuned) the engine/carb is.

don't know the heads, but i'll assume they're good and the engine is in good shape, putting out full power. i'd say 14.5-15 i seem to recall that the old chevy 307 was actually a pretty good motor

You never said anything about the cam or compression. The headers and 4.11s will help a lot but the 307 is still small to move a good size car quick. Guesstamate 16.1 at 89mph. If it breaths has good compression and cam and decent timeing & carberation and can actually get out of the hole maybe mid 14s.

He did mention that it has stock pistons, cam and crank. 16's sounds about right anything better than that is doing well with a stock cam.

3000 lbs.?seems alittle lighter than usual, i thinking about 16's should be a pretty decent guess.
