What's in your stash (of car parts)?

This is going to take some thought.... off the top of my head, the misc. stuff:

-Semi-fresh Olds 350 and a BOP Turbo 400 trans
-3:73 non-posi g-body rear axle drum to drum (came in the wagon and I swapped it for a highway friendly 2:41) for sale cheap
-pair of blue g-body bucket seats in decent shape for sale
-GM A-Body driveshaft, radiator and trans crossmember custom notched for dual exhaust
-g-body tilt column
-a pair of mid-70s full-size Olds 88 4 door rear quarters... closest to what is on my wife's 75 OldsVert... and could be spliced in if necessary
-spare front and rear bumpers for the same car
-a second full set of window glass for the same
-complete front end (spindles, A-arms upper and lower, rotors and brake calipers) for same
-set of 4 Olds Cutlass rally wheels 14" for sale cheap
-set of 4 F-body Camaro wheels (all four are rears) with spacers that came on my wagon for sale cheap
-a pair of GoodYear Eagle NASCAR spec "sticker" tires with a compound slated to run at the old North Wilkesboro Speedway (wall art)
-a set of four stock steel wheels and snow tires for a Fox Thunderbird, Mustang, Cougar to fit the Thunderbird I have that doesn't even go out in the rain.
-assorted spare alternators, power steering pumps, front and rear coil springs, AC compressors, power window switches, HEI caps and rotors, plug wires, ignition modules, fan clutches, and other misc. nonsense things to fit the GM vehicles in the fleet.

Since my 68 Cougar is so custom and has a ton of one-off pieces on it, I have spares for the MSD box, upper and lower radiator hoses, complete spare serpentine belt set-up with brackets and pulleys, electric fuel pump, coil, GM 12 si alternator, starter, and anything else that could leave me stranded on the side of the road on a Power Tour or trip to an out of state event.

Probably the rarest parts I have at the moment (IMO) are body side moldings for 85 442 (any color) or gray 86/87 442. Or any Gray G-body Cutlass from 85-88. And some Dark Claret and Med Gray seat cloth for 85. Oh, and a few 85 442 carbs.

This thread has turned into a self reflection full of regret, I love it 🙂

I have a decent amount but try to keep my spares revolving. I have moved enough through college and recently after graduation I don't want to hoard TOO much but it's tough sometimes.

I have a set of F41 swaybars, and most of the bracing, i think i have a garbage can full of monte firewall to core support, jounce bars, a grand prix bar and other stuff
A tote full of 4.1 buick v6 parts, carb, intake accessories, spare pistons, a 4.1 block, enough there that if I bought a set of pistons gaskets and bearings to build a running complete 4.1 with too much spent on machine work
Tote full of 2 door window regulators, tracks and window cranks for manual windows, a few sets of glass
TH400 core
Pile of LS parts, ls4 intake, TBSS oilpan, TBSS exhaust manifolds, 5.3 I bought for $100 missing a piston and head and oil pan I intended to combine the pile to put a turbo LS in an AMC sx4 eagle (bad idea lol)
LS 4l60e torque converter I bought in error but cant sell because I MIGHT use it
3400 stall converter for my firebird
Spare 93-97 firebird tail lights
Enough to swap a FWD 3800 to RWD minus a harness
Bunch of cutlass dash parts like switches, trim, 2 or 3 sweep style speedometers and 1 spare rally gage cluster
Aluminum cutlass hood I got from Blake that's sat around
Half a dozen carb turbo 3.8 plenums and turbos and carbs, oh my!
3 disassembled 86-87 GN core turbos
Blazer spindles for my cutlass eventually

All the parts to GN turbo swap my wagon, rebuilt 4.1, 200r4, harness, fuel system stuff, i guess im actually planning to use those parts

My weakness is wheels and tires.
I have a set of the steely 14's I had off my wagon spares sitting around, 2 of them were donated to Dad's camper but I have the other 2 I think I will keep for burnout tires
All seasons snow tire set for the firebird AND my 17's with summer tires
Full set of ralley 15x7 pontiacs off my 2+2 when i bought it
Full set of c5 vette wheels
2 pairs of drag radials
Spare wheel and tire for the rainier
Some more 14's I got for free
Few 255/40/17's i dismounted from a set of rims that didnt match but had too much tread to throw away
Some random 215/65/15's from I don't remember where?

The hardest stuff is knowing how much I've actually sold
Running 455 Olds/Th400 for $200
Good BOP th350 for $75
Core 200R4 $50
Traded a front suspension from the firewall forward plus a cutlass fender pair, hood, core support and nose for a, 5.3, disassembled said 5.3 and found the cam was worn, traded that engine pile of parts plus cash for a T56 (one of my better trades I wasn't TOTALLY upside down on)
Sold an entire blue cutlass interior minus the seats, dash, and carpet for like $150 shipped where shipping was $120 but they were plugging my storage
4 4 bolt main 350 SBC blocks with 3 pairs of heads and a couple intakes sets I sold for $150, Dad got them at auction for $20 on a pallet and told me to sell them and I kept what was left over. I was 19 and in college so I made $130 I couldn't complain
Threw away a split bench seat out of a cutlass because I didn't realize the tracks could be used on other bucket seats and go into a G body

Misc. SBB parts and g body stuff.
The garage is also home to my dads 350 olds and 454.

I thought of some more.

-I have a milk crate of about 5 Q-Jets. Three are complete. One could bolt on and go, two could use a rebuild, and two are for parts.
-An extra Edelbrock 750 carb
-The complete stock front suspension off my Cougar: upper and lower control arms, strut rods, sway bar, spring perches, stock cowl braces that I would just give away
-a whole box of various AC fittings that were left over from converting my Cougar from a stock to Vintage Air set-up
-my old indoor ISCA car show display items: stanchions, show sign, gas, oil and H2O cans painted and lettered to match the car, and other misc stuff.

Yeah, I don't even want to try listing ALL the sh*t. I've got an @$$lode of Q-jets from my Rochester phase (all disassembled for a rod and hanger assortment). I've got cool old HeathKit electronic testing equipment from my grandfather (actually was a TV repairman, Spicolli), a pair of Marantz Model 5s, various antique bits, and a bunch of other junk I'll probably never use. Hi, my name is Bruce, and I am a Hoarder.
