I've owned or leased over 75 cars since 1973 and the best was the 2005 Cadillac CTS-V that I leased for 2 years before I retired.
It was like driving a race car, but with leather seats, NAV system and A/C.
That car was a BLAST to own and drive.
It had the 5.7L LS6 engine with a Tremec 6 speed manual. It was VERY quick and it had a lateral acceleration gauge that I regularly pegged at 1.0g!
Of course, that kind of driving was the reason the rear tires wore out in less than 13,000 miles
. And it averaged about 24 MPG.
It made me sick to turn it in at the end of the lease, but I couldn't afford to buy it at that point.
I've owned many other wonderful cars, but nothing else could match that Caddy for all-round performance/enjoyment.
