Thus far in my short life, I would have to say that my old '94 Impala SS is the best car I've ever had. I used that car for everything for the 3 years I owned it. It was my daily driver, road trip whip, street race car, and weekend stunt whip. That car made 12-18 trips from GA to TX with and without the 22s on. I regret selling it from time to time.

I've owned or leased over 75 cars since 1973 and the best was the 2005 Cadillac CTS-V that I leased for 2 years before I retired.
It was like driving a race car, but with leather seats, NAV system and A/C.
That car was a BLAST to own and drive.

It had the 5.7L LS6 engine with a Tremec 6 speed manual. It was VERY quick and it had a lateral acceleration gauge that I regularly pegged at 1.0g!

Of course, that kind of driving was the reason the rear tires wore out in less than 13,000 miles  . And it averaged about 24 MPG.

It made me sick to turn it in at the end of the lease, but I couldn't afford to buy it at that point.

I've owned many other wonderful cars, but nothing else could match that Caddy for all-round performance/enjoyment.

i was expecting to see more gbodys seeing as how this is a gbody site. but my dad had an 89 century wagon that he put put well over 2xx,*** miles and was running strong before he traded it on an f150 that he got rid of @ 160,000 miles.

it wasn't "my" car but it was a great vehicle, my dads an outside salesmen so he drove it all around town every day, brought it home and went out in the desert to fill it up with wood. he liked it because it held beer, saws, and lots of firewood.

i actually want another car like this

Do you have any pics of it? I might be getting a '87 Caprice coupe in January, if no one beats me to it.

I already know that. I've had two cars stolen, including my 1st Box Chevy. I got it back after it was wrapped around a light pole. I put steering column locks on everything now, at least.

I have owned about 35 cars in my time and here are the best cars I can remembered I have once owned
1986 Buick lesabre
1987 Buick electra
1987 Olds delta 88
and the bestest (lol) I have ever owned was a 1993 escort Gt ( factory equiped with the Mazda 1.8 dohc engine) the car run for over 300,000 miles and was still running perfect when I sold it .. The only money I ever spent on that car was for the clutch replacement 3 times and the timing belt 2 times.. That car was a freeking beast... am still in the market for one of those .. must be in good shape though NO RUST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
