Where have you guys been mounting your MSD boxes

I just bought a 6AL2 digital box and would like to mount it where it would be out of the way but convenient to wire.
I was also curious how you guys are cleanly running wires through the firewall without running through the speedometer grommet.

I have a Daytona Sensors box,so I dont know how it compares in size to your MSD.
I was just lucky enough that it fit in the passenger side kick panel where the original computer went.

I don't have that luxury on my 78 as the kick panels do not have the provision for the ecm like the 81 and up cars.

I have a MSD 7AL-3 (very big) that is mounted to the backside of my glovebox door and then I have a timing computer mounted in the kick panel where the original computer was.
Running a 6AL-2, I would probably get the later style kick panel and put it there for ease of access and to keep it out of the way and hidden.

Thats too bad,it was the perfect place for me !!
It gets tuned with my laptop and the wires are easily accessible without taking the panel off.

Easy fix, just get one for your car then run the wires into the car.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who likes to keep those things inside the car. Last time I put one under the hood it lasted a couple of weeks.
