You'll be happier with a dual plane intake on a street car. You won't win any stoplight to stoplight races without low end torque.

I put an ad on craigslist basically saying that I would be willing to trade my Torker II and Performer intake for an edelbrock air gap or similar variant of that intake.

Hi the torker 2 with a 2" spacer if you can get it under the hood.the cam u got run from 1800 to 6200rpms so with the 2500 converter you got tobe in the torque range of the cam.

I had a buddy of mine who runs a performance shop setup the whole thing on a dyno simulator. He says that with my torque converter stall, the converter will flash right at the peak torque achieved by my setup.

Ya i had set up a s10 this summer pass with a 350 in it with a th350 and a vega converter with flash stalls at 3200 to 3500.With the 280h cam and some good port work and a torker2 and a holley 650dp carb for the street it is like a savage from light to light.O and the 600vac carb blaaa not the same kick as the dp carb.

Supposedly from what I've read, with a dual plane you need more carb than you would with a single plane intake.

Blaah, who needs a DP holley when you have a Barry Grant 750 lol. I have 3 carb choices, my 600 1406 edelbrock, 750 Carter Competition AFB, or the Barry Grant 750. My opinion is that a sbc really doesn't need anything more than a 650-670 max.
