what called it off was the owner has no title

$4000 for a beat up car with no title?

Right call.

Texas replacement titles are super easy to get (for an owner, not a buyer) if you have a registration (and its only $7), but people are stupid and lazy and don't go down the DMV and get a replacement.

he said it was his friends grandfathers car which at this point any one will say anything to sell water to the sea

Years back there was a guy on maliburacing that bought the rear clip of an aerocoupe and was doing an excellent job of converting his gn.he showed in great detail what had to be switched over including parts of the package tray, parts of the trunk jamb, hinges some bracing from the monte to the gn etc etc everything! It was great.i don't know if he ever finished it but i want to say he had a site about it also.the last thing i saw was the glass and the trunk lid set in place and it looked factory.i remember he worked third shift or some strange hours and he had some hardcore regimen where he would work on it twice a day around his work schedule.it was documented pretty well from what i saw,all kinds of notes etc.pretty sure he had a yellow gn or malibu too.
