The Monte SS aerocoupes are highly desirable to certain people. I've never been a fan of them nor the GP 2+2.

You really can feel the difference between a standard roof G-body and and an aerocoupe above 100 mph and the difference only gets more, the faster you go.

From a styling/practicality standpoint they are an acquired taste, but from a functional standpoint at high speeds, hands down they are the best way to go.

T-tops + Aerocoupe was originally ordered by a "Poser", however.
 
I like the GP 2+2 better than the SS version. The sell the Aero back window for circle track cars in poly. A friend of mine got one for his Monte Carlo sitting on an illlegal Chevelle front clip

I think the aerocoupe is definitely more desirable than the notchback style and usually command a higher resale price. I always like the aerocoupes....Chevy and Pontiac.
