wierd issue with sbc 350

I recently saw an old Edelbrock S.P.2.P. intake on a 89 Firebird, but passed on it because it is known to be worse than stock.

I think you mistaken about that intake....I installed one on my 305 and the increased torque was really noticeable...

Yeah, with runners that small it should be! I guess it's OK on a 305, but I think it would choke a 350 or anything that would require decent airflow and the ability to RPM.
