Whats going on Wagon Fam, I am trying to re-attach my passenger side wiper arm and I am having the hardest time because it will not stay attach...WTH???

I know that you need to slide that little clip down to re-attach and I did and once on I bend the arm up slightly and it should catch but it will not catch for some reason am I doing something wrong?

I thought that as wel but the replacement is practically brand new found a guy parting one out and I removed (easy part) without damage.

Ma
was the arm lifted before the tab was pulled back when it was removed?

Maybe the old arm was the previous owner included with the sale of the car I went to the junkyard and found another wagon and remove the arm using the correct procedure. I've been the arm up slightly slide the clip down so that the arm stays rigid attach it to the passenger side rectangular piece push down on the arm as well as push down on the locking tab but then when the when she'll wiper starts to go the passenger side arm pops right off

Was the donor car the same year your car is?. I don't think they ever changed anything with the wipers but it seems strange why your replacement arm doesn't work

Same year, that's what I keep thinking to myself Lol.

Negative does the exact same thing, that's why I went to the junkyard and got the other arm because I thought it may have been the clip on the old army but the new arm is doing the exact same thing.

Then you might want to go back and get a replace the whole wiper transmission from the car in the yard. I don't think the individual parts are replaceable.
