I can't figure out my charge light wiring can anybody help me with it? The brown wire at the cluster does not have any voltage. Where does the brown wire lead to under the dash? I'm lost I have the gauge package

Brown wire should be 12v with engine running. Goes from alternator to charge light might detour to choke heater relay along the way from what I've read Bulb gets 12v on both sides doesn't light alternator is working.

Where does the brown wire get power from? I'm trying to get to the root of the wire. Where is the resistor located in the circuit

the resistor is the warning light in the gauge. The diagrams shows the brown/white wire gets it's power from the ignition switch
