Wiring issue's, Can someone tell me if the temp wire is hot?

do you have the alternator hooked up? if not one of the brown wires could be the one that excites the alternator.....there is an oil pressure switch just to the drivers side of the distributor, I think the wire that feeds the power to the switch is brown and the other side of the switch the wire is blue that feeds the choke

Here's the circuit & color for the engine wires.
2 red feed batt unfused, 3 pink feed ing on/crank unfused, 6 purple starter solenoid, 25 brown feed volt regulator, 31 tan oil pressure (light/gauge) 35 dk green coolant temp (light/gauge), 78 lt blue electric choke, 250 brown feed ing on controlled fused, 931 brown/white choke/oil pressure light (gauge option).
