Oh man you gotta keep that wood grain! So freaking nice. If you need a GN wagon, you could always find something that needs body/paint work (like this: https://seattle.craigslist.org/oly/cto/d/project-car-1983-olds-station/6384669527.html). Your wagon looks so perfect as-is.

LS swap it! You could get a complete donor vehicle and keep all the stock systems intact (cat converters, etc) or look at GM's E-Rod line up? A California legal supercharged LSA would be a slight power upgrade over the old 6 banger.

Vandall, you're right on point with that! that wagon there is just begging to be a beater sleeper, just wish it was't all the way across the country (and I didn't already have too many cars).... leave the dead paint, widen the stock steelies/notch frame, and keep the plain hubcaps! :)
