i want to know from you guys and not a book, how do i get the #1 piston to TDC with the intake and heads on? im actually debating on getting a engine scope for my camera or something like this,

but they cost a crap-load...so what do i do?¿
OR... tell me how to adjust my friggin rockers with above statement being true. eather/or, just gimmie info. thanx in advance for dealing with my :bs: and shenanigans...

this only works if you have a pointer and markings on your dampener...but pull out your number 1 plug, stick your finger over the whole and have a buddy or hook up an bump switch and bump the motor until you feel the rush of air come out, then manually turn your mortor over until your marks align up, that it...option 2 (which i recommend) tow your car over to my house sign the title to me and i'll post a video of it running 😀 !

oh, and does any one know where i can get a ****ing degree wheel for the crank? i went to every auto parts store within a 5 mile radius of where my car is and bupkis...

You might as well wrap that up, no part stores will carry it unless it's a specialty store, you may try a machine shop and see if they'll loan it or rent it out, and thats a far catch. But you shouldn't need one for a basic build up if you lined the cam and crank up dot to dot you should be ok. if you have trouble starting it just try advancing it while you crank it. Helps to have a buddy around. Makes me wish i was close to give you a hand.
