YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i got the engine running! i adjusted the floatbowls and the timing and it stays on by itself!!!!!!!
now all i need is coolant and transmission fluid, then imma pave my works parking lot with burnt rubber
after the carnage, i have to get a new transmission xmember, an exhaust system(but just headers sounds nice to me  ), and then some upper and lower rear control arms. so YAY TRAR!!!!!

the funniest/funnest part about haveing my car running, is now i have fans

its so loud i actually have a written warning from a local police officer that lives a block and a half away, that i cant start it before 8am. OR ELSE!!! thats what it said, or else.. lol

well i did gt the transmission filled with fluid, whitch found it way out the trans pan... :|
soo, gotta fix that and try and get a better day off. werkin 6 days a week sux...

well today i replaced the trams gasket, AGAIN, and it still leaks, so imma get a new trans pan because this one is toast. any suggestions on a trans pan?

turns out, i dont need a new trans pan, i just need to to dry for a week :blam: . so i fill my elky with transmission fluid and i actually drove it around the block. i was happier than sh*t to finnaly drive it. i still gotta work out some bugs with timing but it runs and drives! YYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY! well yesterday i got a giant(to me) paycheck so, imma take it to my buddys shop and have them square-away the timing and the carb work and make sure i didnt **** something up along the way.
so now someone tell me what to buy before i go and blow 180 bucks on a new pocket rocket!!!

oh yeah and its not "legal" yet, so i gotta get that in order.

i also would like some suggestions on what exhaust i should buy. i have headers and i want an x pipe, oh and i found out that some places require me to have cats in order to even touch the car. anything?

Try Jegs. They have an x-pipe set up for pretty cheap. Otherwise any custom muffler shop could make them but it might cost ya! I had my Tahoe done a few years ago and it was just under 5 hundred for dual flowmasters.
