well I think I said 10:1 with 416s. 416 are actually really good, a lot of guys put them on 350s. Are you sticking with the 307 are building a 350. Id say about 300 horsepower with the right parts on a 307 and 330-350 horsepower on a 350 but loads more torque, the down side for a 350 is it runs outa steem around 5500 rpm but for a daily that wouldnt make a difference. 416s ported will flow pretty well I remeber but I dont have any numbers.

CHEVY SMALL BLOCK HEADS - 3986388 Casting Number. also has markings "GM 10" near rockers, and "920" under intake runner.
Correct for 1972 to 1976 350 CID engine, Also Correct for 1968 to 1976 307 CID.
1.72 intake, 1.5 exhaust. Aprox. 74 CC Chambers
Complete with valves and springs.

Good used set from a running engine that we put aluminum heads on. From my research these are good heads for trucks or other vehicles that you want a good amount of torque from.

mine are 14014416, they have 1.84/1.55 valves, with 58cc chambers, they were used on 305s and I believe 267s also, sometimes the chambers varied on the heads from 55-60cc. They are perfect heads, they were on my old 310, which I found out to a 355, they had some power to them, I always wondered why my 305 could keep up with a mild 350, and thats because it was  . But for your 307 they'll be perfect and you should pick up some power too.

If youve got the 307 already get a 350 block and build your own 327 .
Just my 2 cents 350 blocks are dirt cheap.
