Really considering buying these. Afaik the cost to refurb a pair of usable buckets would be about the same. I dont think they have tracks, but I can cobble something.

What say you guys?

You can call Mike to ask about the tracks,he's a pretty straightforward guy.
As for buying them, thats up to you to decide.
My old ones were in need of new upholstery, but when I priced having that done,I found that there wasnt much difference between having the old ones reupholstered and getting a set of new Scat Procar seats.
I went with the new seats.

I have been to he's place and saw some seats very nice pieces. The new foam made a different. I don't recall tracks on them

I bought entire Montes for a lot less.....

But if its factory material it is a decent price with tracks

If its cheap aftermarket material like HAFROD wound up with a while back absolutely not!

I think its high priced. Especially if the foam wasn’t replaced and no tracks. But it all comes down to how bad you want them. I paid $500.00 for 96 Camaro leather seats w/power driver. That had only been in the car 1 year when the car got totaled.

That's a lot of money unless you have nothing at all, or are doing a high dollar restoration. JMO. Do you already have bucket seats?

Hey, do all cars have the floor pan mounts for buckets? Or is that something that only comes in a bucket seat car?

I have a 60/40 split bench, and am going to convert to buckets/console so I do need buckets to make that happen.

Looking around, just the new fabric for the seats is anywhere from $380 (gbodyparts) to $579 (classic industries, OPGI, etc), and new foams $150ish for each seat. Even if they don't come with tracks, as long as they are NEW foam and NEW covers, it seems like a good deal.

That’s the point I made.30+ year old foam would generally be pretty worn out

One way to look at it is how much for a good set, new covers (possible a set for the rear to match), seat foam, side covers/seat trim, if need the seat tracks, shipping of needed materials. Sometimes just waiting it out may work out better. Just don't be like me & pass on a set of perfect seats for $50 cause their color (still kicking self in @$$ two years later.)
