Im comparing these pictures to pictures of my 99 Z/28. I dont think it was pushed back at all. biggest thing Id look at is the crank pulley. if it hasnt been hit or only very lightly it should be fine. Very good engines lots of power for little money. It also has the 243 heads and ls6 intake since its a 2000. Good deal imho and I know late model gm. Like was previously stated, inerior t-tops and all that other jaz emmissions and what not will bring in some good cash. And if its an origional euro car the tail lights alone will go for about 300 alone in the states if not more.
looking at the picture of the engine compartment it's had to tell if it was pushed back but I think the picture of the interior which shows the position of the shifter which is pinned up against the back of the opening in the console for the shifter and the height of the shifter is a telltale sign that the engine has been pushed back and down as it is meant to be in a heavy frontal impact.
