My third car that I bought off my Mom of all people it needed work but was a 73" Grand Am, the first and best year in my opinion.
It came white with red/white and blue pinstriping,it had burgundy interior, buckets and console, factory gauges and tach and it had a 400 4 barrel dual exhaust and a 355 posi all from the factory and handled assume for its time.
If I could find a mint one I would build a stroker big Pontiac for it with aluminum heads etc. and probably modify a Can Am rear spoiler and shaker hood for it.

1970 Chevelle SS big block four speed. Im a big fan of all chevelles and El Caminos.

my first dream car 1969 GTO. it was my cousins car. 4 speed 400. comp orange with black interior. he restored it and i always told him if he was ever going to sell it i wanted it. he told me thats a deal. well back in 1985 he passed and his wife sold the car. i was devastated. some day i will get one.

My first dream car. which i never owned, was a '32 Ford 3-window coupe. Chopped, channeled, fenderless (or with a set of cycle fenders). My next dream car was a '55 Chevy gasser...which I later owned a '56 210 coupe with a 265 V-8, 3-spd.
My next dream car was a '62 Chevy Belair or Biscayne with a 409, 4-spd sleeper. I later shifted over to foreign cars.

"I later shifted over to foreign cars". Nobodys perfect. Happy New Year Jack...

My first dream car was and still is a 1970 black on black Monte Carlo SS. I had to settle for a 1972 factory big block 402 car red with black buckets. Sadly it got away from me and I totaled it. Dad made me get rid of it ($75) to a local junk yard. I still have the engine and trans in waiting. Later in life I had a 70 Monte, got hard up and sold it. My wife says she is going to track it down and buy it for my 40th birthday this year.

The first car I can remember really wanting was a '67 Z28. Had to be white stripes on black. The list of dream cars has varied over the years but I'd still love to own one. Sadly, I'll never afford one.
