Kit was a competition engineering Kit that summit racing sell's for the 78-87 g body cars. I probably could have just bought the main hoop and bought some pipe because i bent every other pipe with one of those cheap hyd pump pipe benders. It worked perfict not one kink.

Was not really hard at all. The only problem I came across was the back floor is a double floor with insulation in between just a little fire  . But because of this I had to cut the hole in top floor bigger to allow me to reweld a patch panel in the lower floor.

might sound stupid but ive never done a cage so bare with me now to cut out those squares in the rear did u use a plasma cutter im trying to figure the easiest way to do it and were else did u cut out of the floor board to weld the cage to the frame sorry but one last ? do you kno or anyone else know who sells a cage thats a direct fit for a gbody wagon and maybe prices thanx

Started with a plasma cutter. BUT after owning the car for 5yrs I never realized the back floor is basically a floor over a floor and in between there is about a half inch of insulation which = small fire  finished with cut off wheel. cut floor in back right where it comes up to bottom of seat and just in front of front doors. I will get better pics off this area as soon as I get back over my buddies house to pic up car. No one sells a direct fit for a wagon thats why I modified a 78-87 gbody comp eng kit. You can check S & W. The only down fall with any cage is that the back seat becomes a pain to get into but I dont car I am in front.

The back bars are welded directly to shock/spring perches.

Hmmm I really want to but a bar in my Cutlass mostly to help stiffen out the chassis. I might do what you mentioned and just buy the main hoop and then build from there. I just wish there was enough room to build the bar outside the car then install, I don't look forward to removing the headliner and reinstalling it. I have never had that go well.

Working on putting interior back in.
