AAAhahaha! Fricken amen brother your preaching to the choir. 8) Take the top pic and frame it. Put it up in your shop and it will make you and buddies grin for years. Just a day in the life. I love garage pics and garage art. I got some head gaskets that I'm real proud of. Kind of helps take the sting out of when things go bad and adds perspective.

My buddy bought a house in the country with an old farm barn. He has done some concrete work to make an all concrete floor. Installed some garage doors and wide open steps along one wall with hugh second floor entry way to use the second floor for storage. He buys hugh rolls of plastic and walls off rooms to quick heat and work on various projects so that he does not have to go though what you do. Then just moves walls and cuts doors as he needs to. Calls his shop Ram Rod Industries as a car buddy called him the ram rod for getting his and any other of our motor heads projects done. (Or he gets difficult to live with  )

Thumbs up for the sharing ideas to practically and affordably make a motor heads life better. I bet the moderators could start a sticky for ideas like these and see how many ideas tips we could get posted. Been on lots of car forums for years and It would be different and cool.

I hear ya! Whenever anyone's car id here, I'm all over it. Get it done and gone! When in race mode, we routinely do the unheard of, but the engines come out of boats much faster than cars! Got my Heater Control from Hass427, George. Awesome part, quick delivery, packaged with care, received in good condition and best of all, NO LEAKING!!!Thanks George!! Cheers- Matt

sh*t, when it rains, it pours. I'm on temporary hold waiting on headers, Christmas is right around the corner. I just want to work on the Wagon. We have family coming over for the holiday, so it was mentioned, by my better half, I may want to retreive the bus. I always do as I am told, so went off. Well, almost as soon as I left, my phone rang and an old friend of mine called. He was a customer that became, over the years a very good friend. I had built him an Alpine and immediatly after delivery, he wrecked it, kinda hard. After a complete rebuild, body, paint, 2.8 liter V6 and a Camaro 5 speed, he was back on the road. He then wanted to improve appearance, ordered new interior, seals, top, blah blah...never got past the disassembly stage. Admits to me shamelessly that he will never get around to assembling the car, so I suggest he bring it to me and I'll just handle it up. He said, "Screw that! I figure if I just GIVE you the car, it's YOUR problem!! Come and get it out of my garage" So, instead of just getting the coach, I hooked up a car trailer and headed out. Here's what I got-

Dragged it home and sneeked it into my wifes garage!

Not bad, but it needs complete reassembly. I got the wagon on my brain. Drove back to snag the bus, it was running rough. Checked the oil. Water in it. Why? Well, cuz it's ME that's why. 6V92T/A. This oughta keep me broke for a while....Happy Holidays....

WOW!! I love the Sunbeam. I thought for a moment it was a Tiger..but you said it was an Alpine. I remember test driving a Tiger with a 260 V-8. Like an idiot I didn't buy it at the time. This is probably..*gulp* 40 yrs ago. I wish I had it today.

I'm sure that car is no slouch with the 2.8 V-6.
