Help me identify this rear end (seller says GN)

A little off topic, but does anyone know what rear end would be in the Olds diesel Regal? I know where one is and I would think it would be a heavier duty unit, possibly a 8.5??

7.5" rear end. 8.5" come in 84 Hurst olds 85-87 442 and 84-87 turbo Buick

Would be worth to go and look at it to see what it is in person.

I plan to, just curious if anyone here knew. Lots of thorn bush where it is but if 8.5, might be worth it.

Those didn't get an 8.5". Only Olds that got an 8.5" is the '84 H/O and the '85-'87 442 as was mentioned. That's it.

Good question. I know of Olds diesel Cutlass in a salvage yard too. And it got answered. Thank you rfpowerdude. Bummer though.
