Wow, didn't know that you could refinish tail lights.
Yep! All the lights can be restored if not too messed up. It's time consuming, but WAY cheaper than buying new units!

Nothing like a little Zen time with some music going, a bucket of water, sand paper, and some polish lol.

It's currently sanded to 2000 grit wet. A couple more rounds and it will be done. Just sucks i have 10 more lights to repeat the process on!
After....

I polished them a couple weeks ago after wet sanding with 1500, but wasn't totally happy so i started over lol. This is after polish and buffing by hand....

I usually 1500 sand and then 2000 grit and buff with a buffer...it alot easier...when I do headlights I file the nubs off and start with 400 grit and work my way up then buff them...they look great. ..I even file off the letters on the headlights

Finished cleaning the factory undercoating off the front end parts and at the moment prepping all parts for POR15...getting them done today.Probably post pics tomorrow.Would like to do the frame today but with all the dry time you can only do so much in 1 day.

Preliminary pics...not dry or painted with chassis black yet...going good,kid is doing all the painting I did all the degreasing and metal prep work.Second pic is crossmember and 3 sway bars hanging from a tree...I believe that is a shade tree mechanic thing...lol.

Was going to wash and go shoot skeet but it rained. 3 miles of Georgia red clay road to drive on and so I decided to take nap, putter on boat and eat left over wild pig BBQ. Life is rough in SW Georgia. Car still in barn
