Obviously someone who thinks burning to death is cool. I'm sure those PVC CAI tubes will keep the gas fumes from reaching those polyester slip on seat covers or the shag carpeting. The 240 degree radiator hose an inch from your shoulder is a nice touch, too.

That car has been around for a while. I agree there should be a fire wall at least between the engine and driver. I think it is cool what some people can a compilation thinking out side of the box. Don't bash some one just because you don't agree with them or there idea, help them make it better! And yes I have allmost burned to death, not a fun experience.
Just because "you can", doesn't mean "you should". The issue here is it is extemely unsafe and may cause others to do equally or increasingly unsafe things. Young people are very impressionable.
Also, I have set myself on fire more than a few times over the years being careless. Was averaging an incident every 6 months. Funny thing is I work in safety now.

Installed my PST 4" Aluminum driveshaft, new PG trans with a pro-brake, new SFI flex plate and a new billet yoke in the 9". All due to a driveline failure that took out all the preceding during a burnout.

My buddy charlie friend has a mid engine corvair. His is how it is supposed to be done. This guy is "doing it wrong". Charlie would have been dead years ago if he employed this "trailer park boys" build standard.
I guess you can drive around in full nomex, but the potential for scalding is still off the charts. I personally think corvairs get a bad rap and that ralph nader is a complete idiot, but this corvair is TRULY unsafe at any speed.
X2000 lol! That thing just looks like a death trap! I knew a guy that had a 500ci cadillac in his corvair, it was done properly and that car was still hot as hell to ride in. The engine had a shell around it with fireproof insulation.
I could only imagine what the corvair in the pic is like, but then again i wouldn't risk my life for a ride in that thing!
