Did you do the HD kit with the auto feature? I bought the setup from a member on the MCSS board and never got around to installing it partially because the seller has continually "forgot" to send me the instructions

I had asked him about his HD harness, but it seemed quite pricey, especially with the US-CDN dollar difference,S&H and border duty fee's.
Then I saw the LMC harness and it seemed like a better deal to me,and I wasnt too concerned about the auto feature.

When I had a problem with mine last year I took the plug apart and tried to find new terminals so I could repair the plug. I found the terminals online but they were not available and they are still not available. I ended up heading to the recycling yard to get a "new" plug.

Well I pulled the upper door panel off to look into a missing ground at the switch and there was no ground wire.
So I made a new ground wire but still cant get the passenger side switch to work.
When I get a chance I'll see about taking the door panel off of the Pontiac B Body at the shop and see if I can figure out whats wrong.
For now it's gonna stay as it is.

you can bypass the switch to see if the plug is good, use jumper wires and ground the blue/white wires and give power to the brown wire the window should go down. Switch the jumpers around and the window goes up.

Finally getting around to getting the Power window relay splice kit HD w/auto down installed, can only get the auto down feature to work. Not the auto up, tried messaging the guy I bought it from yesterday no word. Also tried using the Monte SS forum since they had a thread on it but that board is almost dead, even though they are trying to update it. Figured you guys are usually pretty quick to respond, its 4 wires on the driver and 3 on the passenger. Any ideas how why the auto down works but not the up?

Sounds like a defective unit to me. If you hold it a little longer, will it latch? Point is: if it's going up and down okay, the latching circuit for the "auto/express" feature is screwed up.

Yeah, but the down auto feature latch works. You think its two separate circuits? And no holding it down still doesn't latch it

Maybe it's a good thing. Auto up with your head out the window would be bad times. My 07 TBSS has auto down and manual up. Knowing me that's smart
