..anyone want to buy a brand new jegs kit? LOL

Anyone can buy right now for $168.09 with free shipping. I also have a $20 off coupon, putting the price at $148.09 with free shipping. This would give me a receipt in my name so if any parts were missing from shipping damage ( like a few here have had ) I have recourse to get replacement parts. I would not have that, buying the kit from you. Whats your best deal?? Shipping is probably going to cost half of what you paid. If we were to strike a deal, at least I'm in Texas ( 77373 ), and not California, or Michigan.

I personally would hang onto it for a while until Jegs raises their price again and then try to sell it locally since shipping with the weight and probably oversize box fee will probably be pricey plus you would probably have to re-box it if your box was damaged like everyone else.

The jokester will end up having to keep it. Although Jeg's would accept the return, the shipping would be on his dime. I just ordered mine for $148.09. Like most, I couldn't pass up the deal. I don't even know what motor I'm going to install in my new project "Laid Back", but even if I have to fab new head pipes, it was still worth the price. Fingers crossed for a damage free delivery.:giggle:

I making my own down pipes to connect it to the earlier SBC manifolds cause I didn't want to take the easy route with headers or correct manifolds.

So, whose kit doesn't look like the pic??
Mine came with one piece tailpipes (from the mufflers back), pic shows a two piece.
Also, the intermediate pipes are much longer, all one piece wit a short extension pipe to mount to the collector.
Better than I expected.
Box was beat, retaped, relabeled, and torn, but nothing escaped out of it.

ok slight update fellas. i changed my mind. opted to have the exhaust done custom. welded with magnaflows and will have chrome tips coming out behind the wheel. He wanted $250 just in labor to install the kit and make the custom downpipes I needed to connect to this kit. so with the cost of the kit and the labor, i rather have the custom work. its thicker stainless also. he's doing the custom welded exhaust, and coating the pipes for $500.
I am wondering why he would have to coat a stainless pipe?

Probably why I am coating BOTH of mine. 409, especially overseas 409, is barely better than just aluminized. The kit I just bought for my 67 is just aluminized because I knew going in I would have it ceramic coated before it even goes on so decided to save the coin on the original kit. Though it is 12 years old, the 409 kit on my 87 only has 4000 miles on it, has never seen a rain storm much less winter weather or salted streets, has barely been driven going on 4 years, and has surface rust starting everywhere and the 409 Magnaflow cats are solid rust. I have it pulled back off and, if I ever get down to OKC, it is going along with the 67 kit for a blast and coat. I'm replacing the cats and the ceramic coat is good to 2500 [supposed to be].
