Its just the frame in the garage so it wouldn't of been that big of an issue. When it comes time to deal with a new spare for the car I plan to use a 215 65 15 on a spare rally wheel (or a fifth '70's five spoke to match if I can find/afford it.)
But the OP doesn't have big brakes. He's got Blazer brakes and his wheels are 15". Also, the OP's original spare wasn't a originally a donut. It was a 195/75 x 14.Want bigger brakes? Pay the bigger brakes tax. Want a spare that fits your big brakes and fits in the stock location for the original 14" donut? You pay that tax.

Any deviation from stock gets you coming up with creative or expensive solutions.
I am sure there is a cheaper solution, but the Blazer brakes are definitely bigger and they are dual piston.
Alot of 15 inch rims do not fit without spacers as I just found out with the Cutlass rims
But, what the **** do I know... right? Back to watching the game.
???
I agree with you on the FBody rim since they where 16's with the dual piston caliper.
My comment was meant for Roger1
Hey Jim,Jack, You have a wagon - lots of room for spares. When in doubt put it on the roof

We use the spare tire location for holding parts like alternators, wheel spacers for the spares, belts and hoses.
