What did you do to your non-G body project today? [2019]

Went junkyarding today and picked up another Cop 17" steel wheel which will get used as the spare and grabbed what might be the only non-broken ashtray assembly in Ohio. People can't figure out how to correctly open these things and rip the cover off. Ours was broken and the door was strategically placed back by the P.O.

I have been busy the last week or two on NON g body stuff, Last night, I replaced the exhaust on my FIL's 04 F150 and will do an oil change on it tonight. Over the weekend, I had done an oil Change on my Queen's Trailblazer and replaced the air filter and cleaned the Throttle body as well to turn off the CEL ( This thing gets the guts run out of it so I try to snatch it for some maintenance whenever they aren't driving it) The week prior, I began working on replacing the rear spring shackles on my 03 Z71, the LR has broken loose, and the spring is beating a hole in the bed floor! I did get some junkyard time a few weekends ago and scored a full set of 15" Olds Rally wheels ( SSll or SSlll?) from a 75 Cutlass pretty decent shape with all (20) window trim pieces intact, trim rings, and one center cap. If I DONT have to road trip this weekend to South Carolina, I plan to get back after the Z71 shackles

Replaced the windshield washer pump in my, always a project, 2006 Sierra. Why is it that things break when it's below freezing outside

This was the other winter, why so cold, project from a few weeks ago.

Did a lot of restoration on this truck and, in a way, neglected the SS for most of 2018.

More work on the Cop Vic. Managed to get the rest of the gauge cluster out and sent to Circuit Board Medics for an overhaul. Finished patching up a broken area of the lower front bumper. It didn't have to be beautiful since Jr. will likely bang it up again anyway. Rock Auto order of belts and hoses and filters and gaskets showed up today. Also went out and bought oil, trans fluid and rear diff gear oil. Jr. and I will stoke up the shop heater tonight and get busy.

Had Jr. out in the shop with me. He performed his first ever oil change on the Cop Car. He mounted up the winter wheels and tires, polished the center caps. cleaned out the trunk and mounted the spare tire and jack and associated stuff. We also yanked the cover on the rear axle and changed the gear oil. I managed to remove the startr that caused me fits last night. Wrapped up the night with the last of the patch job on the cracked front bumper repair.

worked on my beater with a heater 97 ford f250 plow truck. replaced the balancer pulley,the fan pulley the fan blade and clutch,the tentioner,the power steering pulley,idler pulley,the belt and the solenoid for the plow.

Got a little subfloor down. Used up 2000 nails just on this section of the floor. Tons of work here!!

Years ago I used to work for the CAT dealer and frequented the county shop working on graders and such. When they upfitted the Crown Vics with equipment they re moved the ash tray assembly. They had a pile (20+) ashtrays that they made it to the dumpster. They then fell out of said dumpster into my truck and made their way to E-bay, I got anywhere between 20-50 bucks for them. One at a time so as not to flood the market.
