I think my wife is a magnet for door dings. I sh*t you not she can take a brand new car an within a month has dings on every panel an you can tell there from other people's doors, some even leave paint or remove it, like how the F... does that happen an it's not just one of her vehicle's

I tell her an tell her to watch where she parks, nothing works. Dam air head!

My car hasn't been painted in years now, but when it is done (God please let me be done quickly), I hope I don't have too much anxiety of driving it. I thought about spraying it with plastidip to avoid this nonsense.

We are all on this AWESOME "G" body website and forum because we LOVE our beloved cars. (So I'm sure i'm not alone on my rational thinking here)..... FOR THAT REASON when I take a ride out some where's and have to park it, I will scope out a SAFE and vacant parking area just to avoid door dings from other disrespectful and careless individuals who only look at cars as a tool and means to get from point A to point B. I will walk as far as I have to (car in visible sight of coarse). Nothing gets me from calm to EXPLODE than to see someone parking 2 inches from a vehicle in a 5 acre, practically empty lot and then wail the door open into the side of another vehicle. I have actually confronted people when I've seen it. Who else on here has this same pet peeve!?? I'm getting all worked up just typing about it here lol....
Yes, I have seen it done to my car(s). When you say "wail" the door open, you are EXACTLY right. They don't give a rats *ss about anyone's car.

The Monte driver's door looks like someone took a ball pein hammer to it. I got a ding at a pumpkin patch on the Challenger when it was about 3 months old, noticed it when we stopped for pizza and opened the door for my wife, there was white paint in the divot right on the body line. I swear she had to see it and didn't say anything because she knows I would have caved in the door on the white POS parked next to us. Lived with it about a couple years, we went home to Long Island for her high school reuinion, I collected a ding on the drivers door and somehow got a dent on the roof at the Hampton Inn on RTE 112 in Medford (FU NY) . Came home and paid a paintless dent guy 900 bucks to fix them, but my blood doesn't boil every time I look at the car. The Monte is getting new doors skins on different frames because they're rusty anyway. But some tool ran into the quarter in the snow out in front of our old house. I hate people.

The one problem is people have no respect for other people, We live in this entitlement society and it just pi***s me off everyday because I have to deal with it in my line of work. Socialism is great until the money runs out.....Venezuela anybody?

My Grand Cherokee is my parking lot warrior. That cheap looking body cladding has marks all over it, but no dings in the paint itself. Yet another good reason why I won't be removing the bump strips off of my doors.

They dent mine, I dent theirs. Must be heridetary, my dad once told me this snooty librarian lookin chick (not the sexy kind) whammed her door into his 81 GP. He shouted what the ****, she looked at him, shrugged, and walked into the building. He opened his door got in the passenger seat and kicked the door as hard as he could. caved her whole door in, then he left. Also while he had the car he had someone drive head on into him while he was parked in the car in a parking lot. stared him in the eyes the whole time. And they left without saying a word. He put it in reverse, put it in drive and floored it. didn't do anything but scuff his bumper, the bumper on the other car however, fell off. Can't say I blame him.
