Well I always say that if it ran before and doesn't now, it's something you did.

I'm on the pontiacgp train now. It's unrelated to the arc. What work were you doing under this shady tree?
Thermostat housing. When I pulled alt up it hit the air box briefly arked and now nothing. 🤷🏽‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

Have you checked the ignition module? It is located under the distributor cap. I had a 3.8 get weak spark one time and it wouldn’t run. Changed the module and it fired right off.

I think the arc went through the air filter box and then jumped to the exhaust until it found the catalytic converter and the energy fused all of the honeycomb particles into a solid brick, so no exhaust flow, ;)

I'm not super familiar with the V6's, but is there any chance you removed a ground cable or wire?

Maybe post some pics under the hood?
No didn't remove anything. Checked and ran through all I could think of which is why I'm starting to replace parts. "That needed to be replaced anyways". Car has never been touched only has 50kmiles. All Pat's I've changed so far have all been original parts car was parked for many years but original owner.

On your very 1st post you mention “it’s not flooded” Have you verified your getting fuel or enough of it.

Do you have a TPI style carb?
