1981 Grand Prix lj v6 no start

i suspect it has something to do with the cam sensor in the carburetor.
do a search!,,,,,
Going more into detail .the sensor is basically a small solenoid for the fuel air mixture inside the carb. Hope that helps OP

Cam sensor? What? It's just an NA v6 with CCC. The sensor you mean is the mixture control solenoid.

Hey, since it has the CCC setup, do you have a check engine light?

Even if it has CCC, you should be able to start it.

but seriously. did you check dumb stuff? Like all the plug wires on right and in the right place? Is the distributor loose? All vacuum hoses plugged/hooked up?

Yeah firing order is correct all plugs and wires, cap rotor ignition coil new checked fuses fuseable link. Doesn't have an alarm, yes check engine light is on

something is wrong somewhere or it would start, you said in your first post it has spark and fuel...do what most of do in a situation like this, start over and check everything
