Have you looked for 1998 to 2005 Dodge Stratus/Plymouth Breeze fans? I found them for $40 used. With the Cutlass top plate it fits the rad really nice. I secured it too the top and put strapping from the bolt holes to the bottom. They pull 40+ amps and move a lot of air. Mine have been going strong for 10 plus years in my 88. I actually got my boom extended on my hoist so I wouldn't have to rip the care have apart. Of course then the back end wants to lift, I strapped 4 cylinder heads on which helped.

I have not found a set, including junkyard searches. The fan I was using in the regal was a early 2000s ford mustang unit. It's ok but doesn't seal to the rad, so efficiency sucks. My new plan of aluminum baking sheet and twin 14" Amazon fans is going to be a winner I think.

Add the GN rad baffles to the front of both cars. It has definitely made my fans more effective. Hopefully those fans move the air they are supposed too.

Kind of anticlimactic when it happens this fast. But, congrats none the less!

LS engines aren't giant heat monsters like 403s or old school big blocks. A mediocre radiator and decent fan will keep it cool. I have a half plugged up '78 elcamino 3 core rad and a CVPI fan and it doesn't overheat in 100* traffic.

Got most of it finished up today.

Decided to fabricobble the exhaust that came with the car into my previous job of fabricobbling to make a quieter exhaust.

Did a little measuring, looked pretty good.

I had it damn close but the angle required a pie cut. I normally dont post my hammered dogsh!t welds but I didnt even have the bottle turned on for the under body tacks. Embarrassing.

Hideousness

Turned out really nice once you couldnt see the welds. Anymore.

I got the rest of the wiring smashed together and took her to the gas station for a full tank of 91, then to the girlfriend's house so she could give me her indifferent approval.

Gave it a quick spritz in the driveway, the hood was pretty dirty from storage at the previous owners house.

She don't look too bad.

First impression was good, it does NOT handle like the Regal. The UMI stage 4 suspension is amazing compared to anything remotely stock. But she stops ok, might need a gear change because it is softer now building boost. We shall see. Time to go have fun.
