Got the wagon in for safety inspection today. Surprisingly it didn't need a lot of fixes... like Natasha's car it was mostly just bulbs and a windshield washer pump.

What was really interesting is what the alignment machine displayed. My home alignment showed 2.4* negative camber, 5ish* of caster, and some toe in on the screen. That Longacre gauge worked really well. I just need some toe-plates. We zeroed the toe to get it in the green on the machine - but, left the other specs as-is because the aftermarket parts justified it versus the jacked up stock figures (pretty sure these cars were designed to kill you).

The guys at the shop said they were pretty impressed with the build - so that is a helluva compliment.

Alignment specs were a joke back in that era. Positive camber and 1 degree of caster gets you in the green? Get f00ked.

Fixed the left-hand dash blinker. Contacts are kinda old.

The tech missed the horn... probably thought it was the nitrous.

Modded the battery hold down, and stripped the front tint.

Also pulled the washer fluid pump and got it freed up with 12Vs direct, and then got it really moving with 20V. Unfortunately it will spin (and get really hot to the touch) but not pump fluid. Just waiting for the new one to arrive.

And that should be that.

You might be surprised to learn that getting parts for these cars is getting more difficult. Or maybe it's just a function of living up here?

Anyway, it took a bit to source a washer pump for this thing. Changing it out isn't hard... but, it certainly is annoying.
