My buddy sent me these pictures and my response was it looks like they were stacked on a lift and it gave out, he seems to think the Vette was being driven.
I told him that Vette would have blown apart in a million pieces if it drove into that bottom car which has no rearend damage plus all of the debris was pushed out of the side.

Temu car lift.

If that Corvette was haulin' enough azz to take out the corner then I'd expect some pretty obvious tracks in the yard as it careened off the street. And I'm speaking from experience. The remnants of the garage door indicate that the beam took it out while coming straight down after being struck from above, and the 'Vette was to blame for that. However, if it were being driven at the time then the door would be knocked in.

These observations stacked on top of yours say that none of those cars were moving prior to a gravity induced descent.

Chances of a "classic" vette crashing into a garage and hitting a 67 Chevy II are slim. IMHO

I agree they were stacked on a lift. One possibility is an errant driver creamed the corner of the garage knocking out the front corner of the garage and the post on the lift resulting in the collapse of the lift. I noticed they’re installing a fabricated support on the header above the garage door Which leads me to believe that something took out the front corner of the garage

ok TRIGGER WARNING! lmao! anyone who knows me understands i hate vettes especially c3s.. twist my arm and you might get me to say 57-62' are kinda cute. this maybe more a physics situation where this c3 pos had a velocity behind it and they full frame with whatever block in front, i can see it. phew, 1 less c3 i have to look at....

Is it me or are there two different state plates on the cars? The household should have same plates, yes? I see no evidence of a lift. And all that debris went sideways, why would a collapsing lift send it in that direction?
