I've read on here multiple times that they interfere with the engine crossmember in these cars.Does anyone know if a set of rams horns will fit an 81 elky? I know they'll fit the engine but will they cause interference with other things like the frame?
Cause they're cooler than any othe SBC manifolds. So why the rams horns
If you want to really do some custom frame work with cutting out the crossmember where they dump they would but not worth the cost & extra than needed work. Now a possible set that might work (NOTE: no proof that they would fit) is a set out of a '64-'67 Chevy II/Nova ram horns. They dump at an angle to clear the tight fit of the engine bay. I wanted to try them myself but I can't find a set to see if they would clear the frame.Does anyone know if a set of rams horns will fit an 81 elky? damn...thanksI've read on here multiple times that they interfere with the engine crossmember in these cars.
someone put long tube headers on this elky and they're a real pain in the *ss plus the engine is just a stock 350 that the previous owner seemed to think putting a double pumper on it would justify the the headers and racing slicks on the back.So why the rams horns
what are those in the pic? never saw a set like those.I was thinking the rams horns as well but read on here the dont fit. I am looking to buy a set of these
