I don't believe anything they say on the show. It's always in the back of my mind that as they're complaining about the cost and timeframe, they have already made money from the show's filming. I had some customers in Dallas with a few hours to kill before flying out, since the shop is right by the airport we made a stop. The SRT Challenger they made a big production about Chrysler (FCA?) coming to get on the show weeks before was sitting behind the fence, dissapointing fake storyline.

I like the show but it is cheezy at times. Richard throws a lot of $$ around. He was up here in the town I live in buying cars. One was that junker jag that I don't know why he bought, they trashed it more getting it off the hauler and then still sold it for profit If I remember right? That had to be a set up deal!!
I remember that episode. It was an E-type Jaguar coupe....what a total rust bucket.
A buyer bought it for a British client for $6000. People are freakin' crazy out there. It started disintegrating as they were unloading it. Apparently, Jaguars and Jag parts, go for a lot of pound notes in the UK.

I got a new Samsung S7 phone and was transferring files over tonight when I found this on the card:

This is when I stumbled into a Misfit Garage shoot at the Decatur Swap meet in 2015. The guy in blue is the sound guy pretending to be a swap meet guy. There is another camera out of frame left and right (four total) and the director is out of frame right, telling them (the actors, not the cameramen) what to do. They picked up and walked with these model A door multiple times. The swap meet was huge and it was only 40 degrees so I didn't stick around to watch any more sausage being made.

The scene was less than 10 seconds out of the 44 minutes.

Holy crap! The Decatur s swap meet is this weekend! Man time is flying by. There goes my Saturday.
