I think next week ill be ordering the BMR rear lowering springs. Im looking to lower the rear of my wagon 2in. maybe 2.5in. The BMR springs say they are a 1.5in drop spring. Im assuming they will lower the car about .5in more over a coupe. Anyone here have a set of BMR springs for the rear on your wagon?

Just to give you an option.....I used the 1983 Phoenix/Citation rear spring (moog 5661) which is pigtail on the bottom and open on top. I used the F body rear spring isolator ( GM part # 10290379) which has a channel for an open ended spring. The isolator is open in the middle which sits nicely on the bubble that holds the stock pigtail in place. The spring rate is linear and is 162 lbs before cutting and with the isolator you can cut the spring as required. I also used the Bilstein AK series shock (BIL-AK1052), it's 2" shorter than the stock length so the spring will not fall out if I jack up that corner of the car.

I hope it works for you. I am now on my third(?) set of springs trying to get my ride height and load capacity (including unsprung weight) needs met - it is a wagon after all.

I have a set of those F-body isolators too! And a bunch of the smaller rubber donuts that sit on the axles perches in various thicknesses.

Have you tried the MOOG 5409 or MOOG 5413 springs?
