Done quite a bit in the last couple weeks. I removed the EFE TVS sensor and used the port hole in the thermostat housing to move the temp sensor for the computer over and installed the temp sensor for the electric fans. Tested system and all works as it should, fans kick on automatically when the car is on and the temp is at 195°.

Used a Volvo fan relay with a BMW sensor and some adaptors. Built a harness for it and ran it ahead of the battery.

That’s the setup Fatboy needs to see for his fan question.

Where did you pick up the smelter? And how small are the pieces broken down to? My brother is looking to melt car rims.
Amazon this was the cheapest one I could find it's pretty small it was $89.00 with prime they do have larger ones for more money but this is all I needed

After a busy couple of weeks, I finally dropped in the Buick 350. For now it was just to check valve cover clearance at the heater box... it's only about 1/4" so I'm slicing the corner off the valve cover (keeping rocker clearance), plus I'll rig something up for the valve cover bolt that I can't get to. And crazy weather (extreme cold, moisture) surface rusted the drivers exhaust manifold that I high-temp coated, but didn't heat cure, so I had to pull that off to deal with.

Put my car in the air today to tear out the master cylinder and 3rd, yes 3rd frame valve! Going to an adjustable system which "should" be more simple. Made a bracket to mount the valve under the blazer master I've had sitting around. A friend is lending me his Eastwood flaring tool and it's slick! Need to find a coat hanger to bend up so I don't waste a bunch of brake line. Should be a clean setup when finished.
