What did you do to your G-Body today 2024

Much appreciated, I think I have to give him the shot to fix them just cause its not gonna cost me anything and I'll have time over the winter to go another route if needed. My only problem with shipping them to you is that shipping is astronomical these days for anything let alone something as big as a 2 wheels

No, no by all means I really appreciate it. Like you said it would be awesome to have G body interaction, I was going to suggest me sending some stuff from my Blazer but our motorcycle guy did some special blend when doing the couple of parts hes already done or else I would send those once I have it all together
 
Came up with trick little exhaust hangers off the rear seatbelt mounts using a longer bolt. Also finished up the front part of the exhaust. This took 10x longer than I thought, 304 stainless.

Those are nice and I bet you could sell 'em. Hell, I'd buy a set. I've looked at those bolts 100 times and kept thinking it would be a good place to hang from but never got off my duff and came up with something. I like those.

I can make some, probably $30 with hardware included. I cut these out by hand, but made a CAD file. I'd have them cut on a plasma table.
 
I don't mind sharing a pic of my door hinge shim " aluminum sheet about 3/16" thick .holes drilled from paper template it's a little long in the end where my thumb is but worked perfectly my door swings level onto latch bolt plus the chrome strip at the top lines exactly, There is one like it on both sides .let's say 3/16" thick could be average they could also be made from steel ect. They can have a taller dimension for thin or damaged door jambs'... make shure the holes are like 3/8 ,and try all( start) three bolts befor you tighten some file'ing can be required depending on your template accuracy! Aluminum files much easier then steel...I've been doing body work a lot for past few weeks .I went over every panel" and refined', the former passes I had made . This added several days blockingvand finger sanding small imperfection's,imperfections, even grown accustomed to useing the side of my hand to bump the panels were the have settled or been pushed up by say 1/64th - 1/32"...A flexible straight edge ruler that can be placed alongside the body area can reveal the slight changes that and blocking skill can lead to a better body .A years lax time in painting allowed me to check for any swelling in bondo ,around patched areas or pinholes I did rehash a few spots useing mor jb weld instead of filler "at such areas... ect. I've got the door jambs sanded and primed with the appropriate primers after sandblasting I seen some pitting ( sand blasting)and cleaned it up. here again useing jb weld to fill nessesary pitted spots also useing red spot putty over primer for smaller pits or chiped paint ".... Next up remove the doors one more time to cut the paint in prior to the exterior paint,...I've got a couple quarts or sealer to shoot befor colour goes on .Got the inner fender bracing all sanded and treated with various primer..some consideration as to what color paint I will use on them as the car is going to have like 6 to 8 colors stripes , insets .panels ,blends ,ect ,proubly need some more lacquer for cleaning guns / brushes .there is some mek here somewhere...I got to pick up some strainers and I'm shure more tape..got to go for a while ..time to sak out...here

Finally saw a G body in a junkyard yesterday, first I seen in a couple of years. It was a Cutlass and it was pretty well picked over and rotted.
