What did you buy for your Gbody today? (2025)

Alright everyone...had not seen the 2025 thread for this started yet...so here we go...the new "What did you buy for your Gbody 2025 thread".

As being that I love manual windows and locks on my Cutlass...I scored some engraved window cranks. Got these from a different engraver than my normal. These came from Vegas Custom Engraving. Amazingly fast service, solid communication and good quality over all. Glad to add another engraver to my quiver.

The Down4Sound amp showed up today, and boy, I think I might be a hippie at heart if this color is any indication:

Can’t decide between keeping the top facing upwards when I mount it, or flipping it over to show the circuitry off:

I'm honesty would love to know how the amp performs. I was watching Williston Audio Labs videos and it seems to be a good option.

Ordered the Trick Chassis 8.8 instant center kit. Called and got a quote to ship to Canada. Made the purchase over the phone and it was shipped out same day.
Sick service. Great customer service on the phone.

I would think you would want the vent slots up for heat extraction

Should have plenty of power for the Infinity component sets I have in the cabin if the specs are accurate. Just torn on subs for it, either 2 lower power 10s or 12s or go with a single big magnet “10.
Then again, I do like the look of a single 12” Solo-Baric….

I’m thinking that too, but it’s got a hefty cooling fan (for an amp anyway) in the plexiglass.

Kinda tempted to embrace the part of me that’s still stuck in early 2000’s tuner culture and do a completely finished box with backlighting.

I run two JL Audio 10w1s. The sealed box I used for them is small enough to fit on the top "shelf" in th trunk. I run a JL500:1 and they sound great.

New battery. The old one wasn't taking to the cold very well and I had a 24 hour window where I could take it out before the roads (and my driveway) iced up again, so I took it to town for Walmart's finest.
