Does anyone know if the Inline Tube fuel lines listed for the Grand Prix will fit the Lemans? Grand Lemans/Grand Am?
They don't have them cross listed. Has anyone tried this or know why they wouldn't work?
I would think everything is the same.
Am I missing something?
Thanks in advance..
I really don't see a difference between a Grand Prix or LeMans/Grand Am frame between the front crossmember & the rear where the lines are mounted. So in theory any Pontiac powered coupe or sedan should use the same pre bent line for one. It's just like with the Malibu & Monte Carlo (& any other A/G) with a SBC the same line would interchange. The only diference I have ever seen seems to be something with '78-'80 & '81-'88 with something with the short line between the tank & main line.
Since the differences in the g-body frames like monte carlo to malibu were beyond the front crossmember and behind the rear, I dont see why the middle section of both cars would be different for fuel lines.
If I remember correct from working at another "Bent On Perfection" 😆manufacturer... The El Camino was different due to the longer mid section from the longer wheel base. All other A/G body fuel and brake lines were the same part number across many of the car lines.
Call Inline Tube and talk to their tech line to verify this. The Grand Prix/Monte Carlo (A Special) frames from 78-80 were only different (Longer) from the front radiator core support to the bumper mount. Then in late 84 the extension for the transmission mount started showing up on the left side for the addition of the overdrive transmissions.
Thanks for all of the responses. InLine Tube just tells me it isn't listed for the Grand Am. All they list for the Grand Prix are 2 fuel lines.
Only vapor line is for the Malibu which is run on the opposite side of the frame.
I would think if you had a 305, all Malibu lines would work.
I'll try these out and post results later.
They did say I could send my lines in and they would copy those. Unfortunately the lines on the original frame were Swiss Cheese, and the lines on my replacement frame are pretty decent and I'm not sure I want to risk sending them in....but I just might..

I believe it comes down to the engine. It depends which side the fuel pump is on . When I did my Bonneville , I had a Buick V6 and put a SBC in it. I was fortunate to get a fuel line and return line from a friend who was parting out a GP with a 305. Went together with no issues.

Funny, i ordered the trans cooler lines from their site a malibu, assuming they where "all the same," just as everyone on FB told me. They were never listed or mentioned as being for v8 and are different from v6! They need to work on their site descriptions! I asked for a refund due to Improper information, and they denied it. What a company... I am not super happy with them either. Cheapie metal. Kinked very easily. $70 a waste.
