OK, next question.
The front side marker light/front turn/and running light all work at the same time. Just like I want.
Now comes the rear. I'm trying to get the side marker light to work with the stop and turn while being on with the running lights. I don't even remember if they were...
Well, I really didn't know they had changed!
Guess that would be the easiest way to add some more light to the side
Headed over to "parts wanted"
Thanks guys!
Sorry if this is a double, triple, or more post but, does anyone have a template to cut out the side reflector for my 87 to install one of these sockets?
The socket is for many years
Ok, everyone,
I'm taking off the fender to get to the ECU wiring. While I'm there I might as well replace the antenna. Not necessarily looking for the correct factory powered antenna, just a good one to replace the universal one that just wasn't quite right.
Any suggestions?
TIA
Ken
My ECU, TCU, and just about every other controller wants to be hooked up to the + post on the battery. Why is that?
I've been trying to hide wires where I can and the + post looks like shyte. Why can't I use a + bus hidden somewhere?

Sorry gang, here it is again.
Put a Quick Silver Shifter in the console
Needing to hook up the reverse lights and neutral safety switch. I'll start with the reverse circuit.
Is this the reverse light circuit connector?
This is what the 87 CSM diagram shows
Its not a horrible job. I used concrete blocks and 4X4 fence posts.
The hardest part is making sure all the hoses and wires between the frame and body are disconnected from each other.
Not sure if would be possible to do it with the front clip on it or not. I had mine apart so I used my...
Any word on the Winters Shifter install?
I'm contemplating putting one in my 87 Cutlass. Really wanting to know if I can keep my stock console without cutting it up too much
Ok, I have yet to see other pictures of the install so here is mine. They aren't the best as they are from my cell phone but they show what is needed to see.

I've got my trans installed but I'm looking at the factory console shifter and cable. I used brackets from shiftworks and it seems to work out side the car but I'm worried about the "S" bend being to much as the trans is a little longer. Anyone use anything different?
Also, what dipstick did...
Anyone use them?
I ordered a set from Mark at SC n C on May 19th. Haven't seen hide nor hair of them.
Talked to Mark and he can't get anything out of them either. Just want to know if I should cancel the order and get another brand.
TIA
I'll be there
My car will be there also, just wont be able to drive it, waiting on parts
I'm going to take it up there and get some free labor from the guys in
Here is what I did, sorry for the crappy photos. This was when I was deconstructing the car. Basically got a donor ashtray and screwed a small piece of wood to it. Used some small metal 90 angle brackets and fitted a top plate that was finished in close to the same color the plastic was and...
Hi All,
I have the body at a shop getting the floors fixed. Called me up there last Friday to talk about it. Told me that the threshold for patches versus replacing the whole floor was met. I figured as much because every time I got under it I would find another hole.
Anyway, looking for a...
When I did mine, I actually hooked up to the trunk lid latch hoop thing for the rear and used a small length of chain between the body mount structures in the front. Of course I had the front clip off to...
