The 350 is a small block chevy, but bit more heavy duty then a 2 bolt. Do you mean 455? The 455 is a buick "big block" engine and can be very expensive to upgrade. I have seen a W-30 Buick convertible with 455 that was running below 12s.

I want to upgrade my existing OEM Floor Shifter with something better, so what would be the best for my Turbo 350 and possible use at drag track after 350+ V8 upgrade. I still want to be able to drive it on the street ;)

Not really, I found the place by accident and follow a truck full of cars back to their place on my way to Millerstown Pull apart. The car would make a good project car from the guy's description and it would be a shame to pull it apart. Why would the rear end by any good if no one saves it?

It is located off Rte 28 --East Deer, the exit right before New Ken coming from Pittsburgh. Take a left at the bottom of the exit and make the next left up the hill. continue travel across narrow bridge until you see concrete road on the right going up a hill, 'Yard is at the top.

I did not have time to go up into the yard, but one of workers told me that he saved a decent 442 in the back of the place (just north of Pittsburgh, PA). Recommend moving quick if interested, since they seem crush happy....

It is almost a direct bolt on, since I have one in GP right now. Detent cable, metal vacuum line (junkyard car or friend's pile ;), I replaced shift cable to my floor shifter (mine was broke), and I would replace transmission mount (same). Works great and well worth the trouble!

I used those plastic ties from Advanced Auto to mount my fan. They have foam pieces to reduce vibration.

Blazer buckets fit with a little work! After measuring and taking off the old brackets, I used a gray with red stripes buckets from an 90's blazer. It required little work for the GP 84 Bucket brackets, but the 40/60 brackets required a bit of yanking to get the front driver's bolt to line-up...

Got a line on gray with red striped buckets from a s-10 blazer with bucket seats that recline (the mechanism looks very much like my GP's).

I have one decent track and the driver's is ruined, so what cars use the same tracks as the G-body buckets?

We just removed my old patched tank and replace it with a Regal tank that the guy was putting in a newer FI tank. The lines on the "new" tank were good still, but had to plug the third fuel line. We changed most of the gas line with metal brake line (was it 11/16" or 5/16"?) and used 3/8"...

The TH-350 swap was fairly painless (not including that last bolt ;), just add right detent cable, metal vacuum line, and replaced the floor shift cable as the old one has seen much better days.
