I have a pair of NOS (new old stock) original GM door skins that I am thinking about selling that are for a 78-80 regal but someone I know said they might be the same for a cutlass. Are the regal doors the same as the cutlass? Thanks.
Definitely go with a quality machine. I would recommend either the millermatic 180 with auto-set or the millermatic 211 with auto-set. I have used both and own the 211. Great machine and the auto-set feature is good for beginners. The 211 also has a multi volt plug in that lets you run it on...
Wow really? I remember they had a lot of G-body stuff they were making like tubular control arms and rack and pinion steering. Was planning on buying some of their stuff but looks like I'll no longer be able too. I live about a mile from where their shop in blaine was. Too bad. Seen...
Does anyone know what happened to TNT Race Shop in Minnesota? I know they were moving from their location in Blaine to I believe Fridley, but I never found out where. I can no longer find them on facebook and their website doesn't appear to have been updated in a while. I wanted to buy a some...
I'll try to find the link but I came across a website where someone sold most of the parts for them. However, when I tried contacting them I got no response. I sold mine a couple months ago but when I first got them they didn't work so I took them apart. Really not hard to do at all just have...
Yes they are. I have a 1980 Grand Prix dash in my 1984 El Camino and it swapped right in. The only thing I had to do was splice all the new wiring with the old. Would be simpler to swap the harness but I was stupid and just cut through all the wires at the junkyard.
Although you would need to remove the driveshaft (4 bolts) TNT sells ones that are a direct bolt in. http://tntraceshop.com/1978-1988_G-body_Chassis.html
If the trans, including the torque converter is completely empty it will take up to 11 quarts, some a little more or less. If it's just the pan that's empty it will be around 4-5, again might be a little more or less. Just keep slowly adding and checking the dipstick. Also go through each...
According to malibu racing, any manual steering box from a 82-91 s-10 will work but you might have to use your pitman arm. I was going to do the swap as the website says they should be plentiful in the junkyards, but I have been looking for the past year or so and have yet to find one. Thought...
I tried contacting them multiple times about some new shifter buttons for mine and never heard back from them. Wonder if they are still even making any of that stuff?
That's just the water pump right? If so I know exactly how you feel as the same thing happened to me last summer. I was bolting up the power steering bracket and turns out there was a helicoil in mine and the bolt that was supposed to go there was replaced by the previous owner as it was too...
I believe I just dry sprayed it a little. It's not really bad, just like really small orange peel. I only shook the can for like a minute so that could of also caused it. I used the adhesion promoter and prepped it all right and it's definitely not wrinkled. Next time I'll be sure not to dry...
Hey I live in Mounds View! I think I know which one your talking about. Was it parked at a house at the end of a street with a park on it and behind the car dealer off highway 10? If so I just started seeing that one a couple months ago. Just found out about this one too. Used to drive...
Personally I haven't done it but saw this pic somewhere online of someone who did. I also have seen another one where they don't stick out as far as the ones in the pic and they also did one to smooth the firewall and it looked really good but I don't have a pic of it.
Well I took apart a steering column I had to paint all the plastic pieces and used SEM plastic paint/dye as I have read it is one of the best products to use. Sprayed down like 6+ light coats and it turned out great but I have to say it looks kind of textured. Was wondering if this is normal...
