I run valvoline synthetic change once a year but change the filter twice a year and the van has 242000 on it now

Yikes, I imagine that second filter change sucks!

Has anyone here seen the Gibbs Driven oil tester? Pretty cool and I have tried it recently. Here's a link and a pic of my.first sample. The dark brown one is a customers Coyote with about 2500 hard miles on the oil and the pinker one is off of my twin turbo SBF with a total of 22 track passes and about 25 miles of street driving. I run Valvoline Racing 20w-50 in my TT SBF and also add a pint of GM EOS (engine oil supplement, basically a zinc additive). The Coyote was running Ford synthetic oil
