I was thinking of putting black wall out as I do think it will fit the sleeper look better. Thanks for the input.

White letters in will look more sleeper but I like the look of the raised white letters.

Not much to update. Installed complete fuel system, installed power steering complete, all belts customized my factory clock into a tachometer. Trying to keep the sleeper look

you'll have to post a vid of the clock/tac when it's up and running.... looks intriguing!

Will get video. I like doing things like this in my vehicles.

How did you convert the clock?

it's a little process.
First I got a tach where the 0 and the 6 where straight across from each other as the clock, the 12 and 6 are. Next disassemble the tach and used the face as a guide and lined up the,0 on the tach face with the 12 on the clock face. Drilled mounting holes for tach and installed the tach assembly. Next took the clock face and with a sharpie drew the clock hands in place. Replaced tach sweep hand with second hand from the clock and installed unit.

and your clock is right twice a day.

Got her running. It fired right up. I could not believe it. Got a little noise I have to identify before letting run too much longer. Oil pressure is at 60 lbs. . Too low in the front for me.
Says video too large to download. I'll keep trying to downsize it.
