Nice job!! Motor and trans looks great. Rear quarter is looking good. So did you get the motor and trans in yet, was wondering how it ran.

that thing is really coming along man, i dont think i have commented on your thread yet, but i have been wathing it and your doing a hell of a job. some people would have walked away from that rot around the quarter window. my son is 17 and im hoping to get him a G body project soon. hes moving down here to florida with me this month so hopefully in a couple months we can start looking for one for him.

thank you means alot, the rot arround the window scared me and i didnt want anything to do with it, but i gave it a shot, at the time i was about 17 when i attempted it, my father helped me out a bit also, im 20 now and it seems to still be holding up so far so good, looks like we did it right lol. but as for the other rot on the car like the quarters and stuff, were pretty straight forward, im not a body guy, not a big fan of it, but in highschool i took welding and metal fabrication all 4 years, so that helped me out alot with getting it repaired. but i got discouraged every time i looked at the car and the work that needed to be done, when i took the motor out and car apart, a little over a year ago, and almost sold the car a couple times, but i couldnt because its my first car and i love it to death lol. and im sure he wil have fun with it! i know i do. what kind of g-body you two looking to get?

hey everyone havnt posted in awhile but the last few weeks i've been working on the cutlass, getting work done i called a few of my buddys over and we all hung out and worked on the car, it was shooting the sh*t grilling, and working on the car we got the motor and transmission in, and its all hooked up, now i just got to do plugs and wires and put the carb on, i picked up a 8.5 rear out of a GN for 650$ and the thing looks great no pics of it now but soon! here are some pics of the motor in the car, i also put the radiator support and radiator back in and hooked that up, going to fire it up this sunday for the first time in almost 2 years, once its fired up put the front end back on and start doing body work! i got bored after putting the motor in and saw a full can of black spraypaint so i spray bombed the side of my car, but that will all get sanded and sent out to paint, here are some pics to share! (im the one taking the pics)
