I went through the pump first, then bagged it up and put it off to the side I put it on the new converter to make sure it functioned well the converter is a non lockup converter

I went through the case and cleaned up any left over residue from the wash job then cleaned up the back half and installed new piston seals on the low reverse piston I realized the original low rev seal was loose so I ground down a bolt thread in it and simply pulled it out after installing the clutches and piston and what not I installed the new seal and air tested it

removed the body from the frame so I can sand blast and box it in, and paint it, also found a few body mounts were rusted out but not bad for a 35 year old Michigan car, im not sure on the suspention yet but I have a 9 inch axle for it and blazer spindles and brakes for the front, the 9 inch has factory disk brakes I might use but I have to narrow the housing first the I will figure out that stuff

Great Job, I'm doing almost the same build with a 455. I was debating on the Dick Miller or ARH. I see you went with those headers. With the ARH can you use the stock starter or do you need to go with the mini starter. I see you went with procomps heads they look great. cant wait to see more to come.

im not sure on the stock starter I would call arh directly and ask, im running a summit mini starter, works good so far but I think a lot of people run the powermaster starter, those headers are worth every penny ,there will be more to come , hopefully this weekend

I planned on doing that before I ordered them headers but figured I'd be using the mini starter. Great job though. So you a eastsider or on the west. I'm on the eastside. Great to see someone local doing these cars.
